Role Overview
The role of the Financial Promotions Associate is to support and work alongside the Lead Financial Promotions Associate, carrying out website and social media financial promotions reviews.
You will be reviewing the websites and social media content of our Appointed Representative (AR) clients, including motor dealers and motor manufacturers, to ensure they meet the FCA’s rules and guidance. You will also provide advice and guidance to help keep online finance promotions and financial activity compliant.

Financial promotions experience and a basic understanding of who the FCA are and what they do would be an advantage, but are not essential. Full training will be given to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake financial promotions reviews of websites and social media for our Appointed Representatives to ensure they meet the FCA’s financial promotions rules and guidance
- Take responsibility for the ongoing monitoring of social media and advertisements across our Appointed Representative network of motor dealers
- Assist with financial promotions enquiries, administration, and management information
- Liaise with clients via telephone, email, and virtual meetings
- Carry out data analysis to identify root causes and marketing trends
Requirements
- Good written skills and the ability to produce detailed templated reports
- Excellent verbal communication skills for liaising with clients by telephone, Teams, or Zoom
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate confidently with clients via telephone, email, and video calling
- Experience of data analysis and compiling reports
- Confident navigation of websites
- Understanding of social media platforms and their use
- Basic understanding of the FCA’s aims

Important Information
Whilst proximity to our office in Gloucester is preferred for this role, wherever possible, we operate a hybrid blend of physical office attendance in central Gloucester for 3 days per week and optional working from home for 2 days per week.
Whilst PC equipment will be supplied to perform this role, a suitable workspace environment at home is a requirement.
All positions at Automotive Compliance are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships or any positions without compensation.
